4th day since he's gone for jakarta. i think i'm beginning to recall how it feels like before my first ever valentine. when he was by my side i wondered how i got by all the while without a partner.
kind of nervous over my upcoming kovan superstar semi finals this saturday! i'm going to try something new- i'll be performing my first ever non-ballad! at a semi finals! in front of so many people at kovan shopping mall!
the first time i joined a singing competition with ___! just in case ___ doesnt like me to reveal his/her name. wasnt too hopeful because i didnt really prepare for the competition. maybe coz i was gonna sing the oh-so-familiar yi ge ren sheng huo, and maybe coz i saw it as more of a very fun thing.
the judging during the auditions was quite interesting. 3/4 green lights means a direct entry into semis, whereas 0/1/2 green lights means you're into the waiting list. while we were waiting for our turn to go onstage we saw so many people who could sing but were on the waiting list! thankfully, the judge who gave me comments apparently gave me positive feedback on the whole and i got 2 green lights!
not bad a performance given my level of preparation! and i thought it was over. zero hopes and zero expectations. i think i was too busy with everything else to be bothered over it. and then, results were out a few days later and i realised i was in! i was 1 of the 14 revived from waiting list! out of 161 contestants, a total of 55 made it into the semi finals. not bad at all! i wonder which judge thought so highly of me and decided to give me a chance.
gonna compete with all the impre champions and zai people. all the familiar names in the list of semi-finalists! i hope to put up a good performance :)
